Student Testimonials June 2020
JuBruce, Just wanted to thank you for a wonderful and very educational afternoon. Charlie and I had a ball!!
On the way home Charlie said “man did I have fun, what a neat guy and I learned soooo much!”
See you in a few weeks.
Thank you,, Al
Greetings Bruce,
I hope this note finds you and yours well.
I wanted to give you an update on Charlie’s progress. He shot two weeks ago at the Rhode Island invitational at Wallum Lake. HOT! and muggy but he hung in there. 91 in the morning and 86 in the afternoon.
Yesterday he shot at the New Hampshire invitational. He shot an 87 and a 92 in the afternoon but he finally broke the elusive 25 on the first afternoon round!
He’s been chasing that for a while considering he shoots on average of three times a week and has broken several!! 24’s. The best part though, was the awards at the end of the day yesterday. Charlie won first place in the intermediate division. A complete surprise to us. ATA and SCTP scores and regs. are very new (and confusing) to us but we’ll get it sooner or later.
Hopefully, we can get you back or we’ll travel to you mid month if the weather chills a bit. We’re planning on going to the Vermont shoot on the 28th and the following Saturday is the Mass. shoot.
Needless to say I couldn’t be prouder!!!
Thank you for all your help. We both look forward to meeting you again.

Good evening B-Max, 2015
I wanted to thank you for the email you sent to me about what to focus on while shooting. This weekend we had the Ohio Zone shoot. The state is divided into four zones, and each zone determines its singles, doubles and handicap champions. They then compete at the state championship each year. Yesterday I shot the two hundred singles and one other guy shot the same score. We had the shoot-off today. We shot two rounds between the doubles and the handicap events, but because we were still tied, we finished the shoot-off after the handicap event. Waiting for the shoot-off, and during the shoot-off, I kept reminding myself what you wrote and I was able to keep working on the fundamentals, and after 100 extra rounds, I won the shoot-off. I owe my win to your words of wisdom. Thanks for sharing them. You really are the smartest man in trapshooting. Hope all is going well. - John
